Why Linden Coast

What makes this different from a seminar

Most financial education talks at you. These programmes are built so your household talks to each other — with structure, at your own pace.

Household-centred, not individual

Programmes bring the whole household to the same page rather than advising one person in isolation.

Conversation over lecture

Facilitated decks and prompts guide real household discussions rather than passive listening.

Built for the 40+ household

Content reflects the real complexity facing Malaysian families in this life stage — aging parents, adult children, accumulated assets and responsibilities.

No advice, no sales

Purely educational. No financial products are promoted or sold. Participants are pointed to licensed practitioners for specific recommendations.

Materials you keep

Printed readers, conversation kits, and closing manuals — physical material the family returns to beyond the sessions.

Penang-based, Malaysian context

All examples and frameworks reflect Malaysian household patterns — not imported content adapted from another market.

Common questions

Things people ask us first

Who are these workshops for?

Programmes are designed for Malaysian households where the primary adults are aged 40 and above. That might mean a couple, or a household including adult children and an aging parent. The content reflects the overlapping responsibilities common in this life stage — not just one person's finances.

Is this financial advice?

No. All Linden Coast programmes are educational. We do not give individual financial advice and do not recommend specific products, funds, or portfolios. Where participants need specific guidance, we point them toward licensed financial advisers in Malaysia.

Does the whole family need to attend together?

For the weekend workshop, we do encourage bringing whoever is part of the household's main decision-making. For the evening programme and cohort, the registered adult participant attends and brings materials home for broader household conversation.

Where are sessions held?

All sessions are held at our George Town venue at 88 Lebuh Light, 10200 Penang. Parking is available nearby and the location is accessible by public transport.

How do I register and what is the payment process?
